The Cowardice of Americans

The Obama administration has given up trying to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed in a civilian court on US soil and will try him before a military tribunal at Guantanamo. Why? Because no state would host the trial, or allow the dreaded terrorist to be imprisoned on their soil. What a bunch of sissies we are. The sight of all those Congressmen and Senators saying a handful of imprisoned terrorists are a threat their constituents should not have to face makes me sick. Why are afraid of these pathetic prisoners? They are no danger to us now. As for their friends, if we are still afraid that al Qaeda will mount some dramatic rescue mission, why did we bother to invade Afghanistan? Why are we fighting there if we still don't feel safe enough to put al Qaeda operatives on trial? This is a national disgrace.
